(The support and response from our community to keep our cat rescue going has been overwhelming and heartwarming. While I understand there was a lot of disappointment in my announcement to close the rescue, my exhaustive attempts over the past several months to find a person to run the rescue has been unsuccessful. Given the demand and nature of my industry as well as the demand for the rescue, it has been a huge challenge and undertaking for me to continue to run the rescue without dedicated volunteers to share the vast responsibilities of running the rescue. In an attempt to keep the rescue going I am now looking for reliable volunteers to run the rescue working collaboratively as a group.
